Back up W 10

I tried to make a system image on my W10 system. The control panel indicated backup for W7, but I did a back anyway. The problem is that it did not make a backup. The folders do not contain any files.


My impression from this forum is that something else is needed in W 10. So what is among the best and hopefully free to make backups in W10?
I like to make a system image about every 6 months.

Macrium Reflect free version.

Every 6 months isn't nearly often enough. You should run a backup at least weekly in my opinion.

Is your Win 10 installed on a GPT disk? If so, which partitions did you backup?
