Have created a Flash Recovery drive and trying to boot from it but when it boots it crashes/freezes at the first screen of the Boot Manager. CD works fine just the USB Flash drive that freezes.

Screen shows progress bar displaced at top and strange white rectangles coming from a large rectangle in middle of screen.

Flash recovery used to work with my machines from 10.2 but 2010 crashes.
    Any manual fix?

No problem. So far that's the only thing I'm seeing with Paragon. I recently found Paragon after being a long time Acronis user, since Acronis has gotten progressively bloated and unusable with each "update".

    +1

I experienced this too. Recovery CD works as expected, but the USB Flash version crashes at the Boot Manager screen.

    (Paragon B&R 2010 Home Special Edition - build 10444)

I would recommend to contact Paragon Support team (http://www.paragon-software.com/webform) with this issue. It appears to be a bug in new builds & products.

Note: more requests => faster bugfixing

+1 for USB Recovery Media crashing. Using a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. Previous version of Paragon B&R worked fine (mostly).

I tried that once ended up having Paragon guy in my machine when I discovered a problem in version 9 in the verify wizard. I still don't think this has been fixed in 2010. Do Paragon even visit this board anymore?

I am having also problems, I guess Paragon is seeing all these but they don't sweat too much trying to have a fix. I emailed them last week, got a reply that they opened a ticket but nothing yet.

As fas as I know, they are waiting for Service Build (and I'm too). Hope it will be ready soon. It should be provided for all users, who sent support requests about this issue.

This didn't work for me. My existing B&R Flash Recovery key doesn't have a folder named "rmb".

In the USB Key root, I have 25-30 files + INITRD (zip archive) + the following 4 folders:

    BM2005
    DOS
    etc
    PCR

Looks like I'll have to wait for Paragon to respond to my service ticket. They sent me a message several days ago that they are aware of his bug, but I haven't seen anything else yet.

Preferably, Paragon should release a new Recovery .iso image, and not have users digging into the directory structure of their USB flash drives.

The folder goes on your hard drive and you re-create the flash disk after. The Instructions are wrong.

    Yes, wrong instructions.

    You need to overwirte C:\Program Files\Paragon Software\[Program Name]\rmb.
Then create new flash from Recovery Media builder.
