avira premium security settings

Hello friends,I´ve installed this great av,but I´m unsure about the correct settings,could you tell me the best settings for it?

I run with all the heuristics settings set on high, the webscanner to automatically deny access if it sees anything, the scanner settings to scan all files, and to auto check for updates every 6 hours. Haven't run into any problems with those settings yet.

 

Personally, I set it to scan all files, both on reads AND writes.

For additional settings for "scanner", I check every box. For Archives, I set the depth to 99 and check all boxes. Hueristics I set to High, and despite people complaining, I've NEVER gotten a false positive (then again, I've never gotten an actual positive either).

For Guard, more of the same. Read & writes, set the archives to the max levels (20, 99, 9999).

Mailguard is fairly straightforward, so I wont even comment.

For General, under extended threats, I check off everything.

Basically, in summary? Max out everything. It might not work for you, but it works flawlessly for me.

Edit: Forgot the web scanner. I don't use it, so I can't help you out there.

 

Forgot about the extended threats, and yes I have all of them checked too.
