Avira 2014

    I want too install Avira Internet Security 2014 , but how does Avira protect me when i do my banking things.
    I hope people can help me with this.

    As already mentioned a layered defense is recommended with any AV. If you really want to improve the odds to defeat any malware affecting banking transactions you need other applications: if you are on 32 bit OS, DefenseWall is probably the best security for banking, otherwise a Linux live CD is also reasonably secure.

    I rely on Sanboxie and Shadow Defender when purchasing online, although I don't do banking anymore. I do trust Avira, especially V14 seems to have improved a lot but I cannot rely on just an AV for security.

    If you are particularly worried about specific banking protection, then stay with what you have; Avast and Safe Zone. It seems to do very well in the banking tests.

    If you would like to try out Avira instead, then layer your protection as outlined above.

    I think then that i will stick too Avast 2014 then.
