I want too install Avira Internet Security 2014 , but how does Avira protect me when i do my banking things. I hope people can help me with this. Greats, darts
Don't see Avira listed, but here are results of other AVs: http://www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-conte...wser-Security-Assessment-Project-Q2-20132.pdf
As already mentioned a layered defense is recommended with any AV. If you really want to improve the odds to defeat any malware affecting banking transactions you need other applications: if you are on 32 bit OS, DefenseWall is probably the best security for banking, otherwise a Linux live CD is also reasonably secure. I rely on Sanboxie and Shadow Defender when purchasing online, although I don't do banking anymore. I do trust Avira, especially V14 seems to have improved a lot but I cannot rely on just an AV for security.
If you are particularly worried about specific banking protection, then stay with what you have; Avast and Safe Zone. It seems to do very well in the banking tests. If you would like to try out Avira instead, then layer your protection as outlined above.
