Would avg free antivirus and avg antispyware paid ,offer the same amount of protection as avg pro and avg antispyware paid.
If detection of threats is the only criteria,why would i need to buy antivirus

 

For the average user theres no real benefit to getting the paid version. The main advantages of the free version is advanced configurations, priority updates and user support.
The setup you've suggested should work fine.
