Hello, I am currently using AVG free edition version 7.5.446. When I run a scan in the test center, a file "user32.dll" pops up at the start of the scan. It says "Change" under the results/infections catagory, and it shows the path as "C:\Windows\system32\user32.dll". This result still shows when the scan is over, however it still says 0 threats found. Is this normal?

    thebigdintx,

You might find this thread helpful.

I think it just means the file has changed in the time between Windows boot-up and the time you scan the file; I used AVG a couple of months ago on a setup and got similar warnings that the host file had been changed (the contents remained the same), it turned out that security software monitoring the host file caused this warning.

In your case the post by the user "Frank" in the above link gives a good explanation of what's likely causing the warning on your system about user32.dll.
