Hardly a week goes by without someone somewhere actually or almost "giving away" AVG.

Same with Norton and Mcafee, kaspersky, etc.. At least in the US, most of the big players can be found very cheap.

Well, the biggest players are the costliest in my country - Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro. The rest come pretty cheap.

one question would be will the 9.0 lic's work when 2011 is released soon .... just a thought im not a avg user so im not sure how their lic'ing works. here in the usa norton and mcafee are by far the cheapest you can get. my aunt just went out and bought a 3 pc nis2011 after a mail in rebate (i think it was staples in the last few weeks) for 9.99!!! she bought 3 of them and will send in the rebates under 3 different address' (she has done this before and it works just fine) i mean 9.99 for 3pc's for the year is crazy cheap and that was a BOXED version..this was also NOT A UPGRADE rebate just a straight mail in for i think 50 or 60$ through store not through symantec. this week the 1pc version is 9.99 after a 40$ mail in. i think she got them maybe 2 weeks it could have been 3 weeks ago though.. its crazy. mcafee is also always on sale like this here ive seen them at amazon and many other places for 10-15$ all the time

You can buy it from us for a lot less!

Yes, you can obtain AVG v9 and simply convert the supplied license to a 2011 serial code: http://www.avg.com/gb-en/2011-upgrade

it's showing up as $44 now. my guess is it was demand-based pricing...low demand = low price, as people buy it, the price will go up. could also be based on the release of 2011.

Yeah I think at all targets AVG is 15 bucks because as I was at it that was the price and they were sold out.
