setting up a new dell desktop 8.1 with intel i3 and 8 gig ram. my friend's vista machine showing signs of doom. he has avg internet security 2014.0.4800 installed with exp. date 2-2016. i will uninstall the mcafee trial(control panel & mcafee product removal tool). does avg play well with sandboxie? should i do a custom install and what components should i skip. i've never used avg and know nothing about it. thanks for your help.
Hi Topo. I haven't read about any issues between AVG and Sandboxie in a long time. AVG should work fine along SBIE. In my opinion, most antiviruses work well along Sandboxie. When there is a conflict it usually is a toolbar or addons that the AV has. I would leave those out if they come with AVG. Bo
