I am using AVG 6.0 free edition. I have done all of the updates including the latest last night. I have it set to scan my emails & sync. w. outlook express. Lately I've been getting emails with strange attachments from unknown recipients with "test, hi,etc.." in the subject line. The emails then say ASCII attachment open to read. Should AVG be blocking these before I get them or provide some kind of warning? Maybe I am used to Norton, but does AVG only block or quarantine a worm or virus if you open the attachment first? Is there any way to set the AVG free edition to automatically quarantine known viruses or worms.
