AVG free edition update error

    When I opened AVG to do a scan, it told me, "Your AVG database is out-of-date...Please dowload the current AVG virus database..." I pressed download now but after it finished downloading, it said the update was "damaged" and it told me to download it again. Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to download it again just to find it's "damaged" again. Help!
