    Saw some blogs claiming that now ESET and Bitdefender got hit too, but the DNS entries are still correct for me.

    Speculation is that the hacking was done via account login change request sent by fax. As someone twittered... Hacking like 1964... :rolleyes:

    I see AVIRA AVG & ESET all support Israel by having business partnerships in Palestine. Hence the link.

    I doubt Eset and Bitdefender really couldn't stay alert like Avast did.

    I think AVAST! are liars. They are just trying to get a bit of mileage out of the others disaster. Google doesn't show Avast Software in bed with Israel. Whereas the others mentioned previously all are tied to Israel in some joint business venture or other.

    Then why didn't they apparently even try to hack ZA?

    Don't think there's much of a pattern here.

    They just hack what is feasible to hack without too much work with maximum exposure :D
