***[Problem fixed, dont know why but its installing now]****

Hi, I just done a clean install of XP and now trying to re-install AVG-As but it wont install. I keep getting an error saying that 64-bit windows is not supported.

But the thing is I'm definatly running a 32bit windows though my processor is a Athalon 64 mobile.

Any ideas?? I might just go back to ewido 4.0 till this is sorted out.

Just did all the available M$ updates, and it still gives the 64 bit error. It is without a doubt 32 bit.

If it gave you the 64 bit error, because is NOT compatible. Why you install a program without check if it is compatible? They had not released a 64 bit version of the program yet. So it is only compatible with 32 bit version of XP.

    Hi,

We have no idea why this happens. For a few days now we're receiving this message all the time but haven't been abled to reproduce this bug.

Can you please try to run the setup in the windows 2000 compatibility mode?

eventually this would help to get it run but that's just a figure and worth a try.

Thanks and I am sorry for the inconvenience

    Regards,
    Vinzenz
