AVG anti virus

    I am having trouble activating my email scanner in AVG. I am running Vista. Will the e?mail scanner work with Vista? If not what other free anti virus program will work with Vista?

    AVG was one of the first to be recognized by Microsoft as supporting Vista.

    the email scanning should be done automatically by avg on vista.

    E-mail scanner work great with Vista.
    Currently I use AVG Free because F-Prot which I bought does not support Vista:(
    And it (AVG Free) run very light on Vista.

    I am using 7.5.463 and Outlook Express. It is now working but I don't know what I did to get it working.

    it is ALWAYS working,

    i think you mean the little circular icon that spins around when incoming email is arriving, sometimes with me, it did not appear, but after some searching, i still found out that avg was scanning the emails, so no problem. :)
