Just opened AVG Anti-Spyware from its systray icon, and found that it hadn't scanned my system since Jan 15. But it had been auto-updated today. (The version is 7.5.0.50 plus.)

When going to Scanner, tab Scan, I see my profile 'Nightly' that I had created quite some time ago. It contains items 'C:\', 'Memory', 'Registry'.

When I go to tab Scheduler, it says Scheduled 'no'. Everything on the right side is greyed-out:
    - Schedule this profile
    - Start time: 06:00
    - Period: Daily
    - If scheduled time was missed, ...
    - Don't execute if a ...

What happened? How can I get my scheduled scans back?

    Resolved!

I noticed that the profile names in the 'Scan' tab and 'Scheduler' tab were not 100% identical (Scan: 'Nightly', Scheduler: '7Nightly'). Don't know how this happened - they were identical originally.

Anyway, I renamed the Scan profile to be identical to the Scheduler profile, and now I can schedule scans again (no longer greyed-out).
