AVG Anti-Malware update minimzation

Is this possible? The updater will commandeer focus, and needs to be manually acknowledged to close. Or, I could wait 30 seconds for it to self terminate. Is there a way to have all this done in a minimized or better yet invisible state? This annoys me to no end, and detracts greatly from the program AFAIC.
