I guess I'm definitely a "newbie" when it comes to Avatars. I followed the instructions on the profile page and put in my web address and everything. At first it was just showing a square with the red X in it. Then I got a message: "Avatar image is too big. Please resize it and try again. Maximum size 60x60"
Well, the .jpg I'm trying to use is 54x60 on my webpage. How do I get it to "download"? I'm probably doing something wrong!
I'm attaching the .jpg I want to use. Can somebody help?

    Hi blacksheepe,

We just upgradded the board software last night and there are still a few issues that need to be resolved. One of them is the ability to actually upload your avatar to this forum so that you won't have to link back to a third-party web site.

Please stay tuned. I'm sure we'll get it resolved soon. :)

    Best Wishes,
    LowWaterMark

That seems to have worked. The image you were using was an odd size (59x54) and the board software could not resize it correctly, so it gave you the generic error about it being too big. All I did was resize it in an image editor to 60x60 and it works.

I linked your profile to this copy of the image (above) until we fix the avatar upload feature.

    Thank You!
I guess I must not have been doing it wrong then. ;)
I'll give it a try again when the upload feature is working.
