Avast updates?

Hello board,

i use Avast! (pro) and i am happy with it.
However i saw a strange thing lately....

If i check my about Avast! info it says i ahve loaded the latest virus defs with number 0642-2 (today is 18th Oct.)
However if i look at theAvast! website it says they have given out the number 0641-5 as latest.
also on http://www.dozleng.com/updates/index.php?act=calendar
the latest number was 0641-5.

Can anyone confirm this??

Maybe it is something regional?? (I live in germany)

OOO mmm well...apparently you didn't read my posting carefully Rejzor.
I did also read the Avast! site. I just mentioned the other site because there you can say nearly ALL known AV programs and their updates.

On the site you mentioned also was this as latest:
VPS content over past month

* 16.10.2006 - 0641-5

Win32:Warezov-LM [Wrm]
********

My questions however was....WHY my Avast! (latest pro version) says it has loaded VPS 0642-2...??

Releasing of the virus database updates has "higher priority" than updating the history page. So, it can take a while (after the virus database is released) before the web page is updated as well.
