I have added AIS
i have made chrome ff and ie run sandox with ais
ais sandbox good or i should rather add sandboxie ?

 

is the sandbox part enabled by default?

 

Sandbox is not enabled on default. Avasts sandbox is just as good as Sandboxie, as far as I am concerned.

 

good, i wouldnt want a sandbox in the first place: it aint 4 me

 

also a few PMed me asking if the coupon, "55WILDERS2010" still worked. Yes it does.

 

im plannin on gettin it for free trough the december competition they havin

 

adding chrome to avast sandbox giving problems on few pages...maybe some addon

edit - solved ... did some changes in ais settings

A question for all premium avast! users - if one sandboxes all browsers on one's system by avast! then does it not negate the need for web-shield?

Good question indeed...but i think web shield filters tarffic from all apllications not just browsers and generally ppl only sandbox there browsers..
so traffic coming from any updaters , download managers or sumthng else will be filtered by web shield..AFAIK
