Avast Free question!

    So relative to a "web shield" type proxy, or however such a feature (protection) is implemented, per the lengthy discussion about MS SE lacking such a feature, does Avast free have this? From viewing the comparison with their Pro version, I can't ascertain that it does not have ample web protection. Thank You!

    If you're asking whether Avast Free has a web shield, yes it does.

    You did not and I thank you kind sir! I guess I've just decided on a new anti-virus for the laptop, which only springs into service when we go visit the homes of the children.
