Avast and Dr.web

    Is Avast (home and/or pro) lighter than Dr.Web?

    IME, on my machines, Dr Web feels lighter in real-time compared to Avast. This is seen even with all the Shields in Avast turned off and this is probably because Dr Web's SpIDerGuard scans in Smart mode.

    This may differ with your computer so test the two. Either AV will give you good protection.

    dr.web is lighter, but avast is still quite light too.
