AVAST Advertising

    Hello all, looking for a new AV product and I recently tries Avast Internet Security. What appealed to me mos is their automatic sand boxing and program analysis feature, which I thing is the right way to go in terms of zero day threats. However why must Avast ruin their product with things like WHOLE TABS for recommending Avast through social media, and buying more of their products. Half of the tabs on the home page are ads of other programs or useless junk like stats and VPN services. Is there any way to disable these annoying things? This is a PAID software suit. If not, I will be choosing another company.

    Settings -> Community

    Uncheck both checkmarks at the bottom under "Community features". Case closed. I always first disable these as i never needed them.
