Incase anyone was looking for a total count of permissions requested by the apps, I was bored:
    AhnLab - 42
    Antiy - 62
    Avast - 43
    AVG - 29
    Avira - 40
Cheetah Clean Master - 27 *Though I'm not sure the security here does anything cause it scans but then prompts you to install Cheetah Security to do anything about what it finds.
    Cheetah Security - 45
    Baidu - 22
    Bitdefender - 66
    ESET - 36
    GData - 37
    Kaspersky Lab - 39
    McAfee - 44
    Sophos - 51
    Tencent - 29
    Trend Micro - 35

It's interesting but it depends as well on the features of each app. Avast can even require you root access for certain features of anti thief
