    It's good to see Tencent's PC Manager at the top, alongside AVG and Kasperskty.

    @roger_m:
    I know you are an advocate of PC-Manager.
    And indeed the results from av-comparatives arevery impressive, when it comes to remove infections on already infected machines.
    But I don't care much on this scenario, because when infection is already done, AV has failed.

    Me, myself, I switched to BD-free-2016, when it comes to quite and free AV.
    Although it's still beta, I prefer BD.
    Aren't all AVs allways beta?

    It might be a useful test for the average user who having realized that his/her computer is malfunctioning due to malware, wants to choose an AV that will clean up the mess. On the other hand the average user does not know of AV Comparatives therefore only users in security forums might be interested in these results.

    I personally don't care much about it as I rarely try to find out why something is strange in my machines (I'm not an expert and therefore to investigate would be extremely time consuming), restoring a backup image within 10-20 minutes solves any problem. I have cleaned up some computers in the past, and the best way to go about it is to use several programs rather than to rely on a single one.

    When I'm cleaning up a computer (it's rare that I restore from a backup or do a clean install of Windows), I usually use Zemana, AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes and sometimes HitmanPro as well, in addition to an antivirus. These days, using one tool is not enough.

    There is no need for average user to know of AV Comparatives or AV-Test.org, etc.
    The participating AV companies advertising in the front page the test results / awards earned.

    i.e. :
    etc.
