Nice to see VIPRE back. I've testing VIPRE about one week and it's performing very well. According to my test, VIPRE does have an access to Bitdefender cloud, because i'm getting xxxx.cloud.1.xxxx detections. Which means, i think, an access to BD cloud. When i ran the same malware sample with Emsisoft, it was detected by it's BB, not BD cloud. And over all VIPREs BB is better than Emsisoft and it reacts fast. But in the end...one vbe script(remcos variant) managed to get thru, partially. It starts to gather all info of your computer, when done, legit msiexec wants to connect outside, prolly send all gathered info to a server(s), in this case were pastebin, drive.google.com etc. After a while, many droppers where detected by VIPRE. But in the end, vbs script had been placed to registry run and task scheduler. VIPRE flighted for good, but information sent to a server by using legit msiexec.
