Not much to say about these anymore. 4 of these products are owned by the same company and all of them are similar enough that it really doesn't matter. Unless you are a software developer and want to see which ones to avoid for false positives.

 

And those 4 are dead to me, mainly because of Avast's history of playing fast & loose with customer info.

Fortunately I'm QUITE happy with F-Secure's security, performance, and their attitude towards customers' privacy.

Using a database doesn't have them involved with Norton/Avast's "marketing" practices. You and I both know that.
