"At AV-Comparatives, we continuously raise the bar for
cybersecurity testing. Our 2025 Defense Evasion (Anti-Tampering)
Certification Test pushed security solutions to their limits, challenging their
resistance against sophisticated attack techniques aiming
to disable or bypass protection mechanisms. After extensive
and meticulous testing across both user-space and kernel-space attacks,
only six solutions achieved certification. Other products were tested as well,
but only these outstanding performers demonstrated effective
anti-tampering defences across all critical areas.
    Why does this matter?
Tampering with security solutions is a common goal for attackers after
initial compromise. Certified products effectively resist these attempts,
maintaining their ability to detect, prevent, and respond even under sustained attack."
