Is there any way to let the end user upgrade to the new client automatically?

Changing the "Program component upgrade" does look like working.

    Thanks.

    Hello grant7072,

Actually there are occasional "Program component upgrades."

Most "version upgrades" address only a few very *specific* issues. Unless you are trying to resolve one of those *specific* issues, there's no benefit to upgrading.

That doesn't mean support won't ask you to try it to see if it *may* help something not mentioned as until they know for sure, the chance of it helping is there

Only occasionally will they push out a Program Component Upgrade (PCU). These will be downloaded by all ESET users (of that build) and will contain all those minor upgrades and usually something that's pretty important right away to most of them. The reason they don't do this more often is that once a PCU is received a reboot is most often necessary. Most Admin don't like to hear that they must reboot every machine on the network NOW. It has to be a big reason to push one out.
