    Hello there,

We just bought True Image 9 and it is working just fine, but we have one question about if this is possible or not.

We want to automate the recovery process, so we just insert the boot DVD including the image file, and then it should automatically start to recover a specific image file.

Is it possible to make a script or something to define all the settings in True Image, and then automate the recovery process ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello MJS,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that Acronis True Image 9.0 Home has the feature that may suit your needs. This feature is Acronis One-Click Restore. The Acronis One-Click Restore is a minimal addition to your rescue media, allowing one-click data recovery from an image archive, stored on this media. You can find more information about this feature in Chapter 6.3.9 "Media components" in the Acronis True Image 9.0 Home User's Guide.

Please be aware that using Acronis One-Click Restore option the current Acronis True Image Home version always restores the entire system disk. Therefore, if your system disk consists of several partitions and you are planning to use Acronis One-Click Restore, all partitions must be included into the image. Any partitions, which are missing from the image will be lost during the restoration.

You could also find more information about Acronis One-Click Restore in this thread.

    Thank you.
