atmclk.exe

    ewido initially blocked and cleaned "atmclk.exe"o_O , but everytime i restart my laptop the same message comes up asking me to block and clean "atmclk.exe". i've done this numerous times. How do i get rid of this?

    Until such time, someone more knowledgeable comes along, I would try deleting it in Safe Mode. It's been my understanding, this may indicate a "deeper" problem. I may be wrong. It's certainly worth trying, if you haven't done so.

    You won't find this file in safe mode. Might be (leftover of) Smitfraud. There are methods to clean (smitfraudfix), but I advise to follow Ronjor's link, and they will guide you.

    That is part of a smitfraud problem

    post a hjt log at one of the HJT cleaning forums
