    Hi,

I tried to make a cold disk image of Ubuntu 14.04 AMD64 installation on a HDD, using Acronis TI 2014 boot USB. The Ubuntu 14.04 is a clean installation. The speed is extremely slow: need ~33min for a 12GB used space.

It only took ~2 min to backup a Ubuntu 13.10 AMD64 installation on the same disk and same computer before.
Terabyte IFW boot USB works as expected, completed the imaging in 2.5min.

Anyone else tried to backup their 14.04 installation using Acronis TI 2014 and if so, did you see the same problem?

I'm getting the exact same thing. It appears that ATIH is making a sector by sector backup for some unknown reason. My filesize is 100gb for my 160gb disk. Even disabling compression doesn't help.

Thanks stephendt for the confirmation. It appears to be a bug in ATIH2014. Is there a way to report to Acronis so that they can fix this bug?
