You know what I don't get? There is so much talk about Friends, which is a horrible show, but in Holland it's being broadcasted on TV by Comedy Central. So I believe Netflix will survive, especially now that they offer classic's like Fresh Prince of Bel Air and That 70's Show. At least, they do over here in Holland.

As they've already said this will be delayed til spring 2020 the title including 'rolls out' is wrong.

I seriously never laughed or even smiled about any of the so called "jokes". It's even more horrible than The Big Bang Theory. BTW, Netflix did come with disappointing second quarter earnings, but according to them it wasn't because of competition, it was because of lack of good content. But I actually don't even watch most of the Netflix Originals crap.

Will HBO Max Be Available On Roku and Amazon?

    https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/will-hbo-max-be-available-on-roku-and-amazon/
Still with HBO NOW app on the Roku Ultra, my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet updated to MAX which opened without any further intervention. And I can log in to hbomax.com with the credentials I've used for hbonow.com on a real computer.

I would expect the same seamless transition on the Roku for the NOW to MAX app. No mentions yet that I've seen of MAX for The Roku Channel’s Premium Subscription Service. The failure of the news services and HBO to distinguish between the two has made reports and FAQs dysfunctional and confusing.

Having been an HBO subscriber for about seven years (previously DISH & GO), I've browsed MAX for a bit and it's not the Big Deal it's been all hyped up to be. If they'd have kept the NOW stream for, say, 25% off, I'd've stayed with that.

This is in context of streaming services only, dismissing cable/satellite services, and statistically downplays HBO's influence in the entertainment universe.

Per Wikipedia: "HBO has 140 million subscribers worldwide as of 2018. The network operates seven 24-hour, linear multiplex channels as well as video on demand and streaming platforms..."
