   Thanks for the post. I use the RT-AX86U router.
   The default on this unit at "Administration - Firmware Upgrade" is Auto Firmware Upgrade >> ON.
   Nevertheless, it gave me a chance to confirm that this seldom used facility is functioning correctly/
