    Hello,

    I purchased NOD32 liscense on Thursday, July 29, 2004, EST 2:18:24 AM.
    Automatic virus version update was requested during setup. I just checked
    the current version on my machine. The virus signature database shows
    version 1.852(2004082:cool:. However, everytime I go into my computer, I recieve
    notice that I do not have the latest version.

    Am I on automatic updates? What do I need to do to stop recieving this
    update message.

    If you told it you're on dialup internet it won't check for updates until you dialup, so if in fact your using ADSL or some other type of connection and you don't 'dialup' to connect then it won't check. If that has been the case then I'm glad for your sake DMAK that the advanced heuristics are so good. If you go into
    Control Center --> NOD32 System Tools --> Scheduler/Planner
    You should see three update related tasks. It doesn't hurt to have them all selected that I'm aware of, but normally for dialup it's only 'Automatic update after dial-up connection', and otherwise the other two I believe. Try it and see how that goes in your installation.
    Also if you haven't already I'd recommend you take a look at the [thread=37509]Extra settings for Nod32[/thread] thread.
    Hope this helps and please let us know either way.

    Did you check for correct time, day and year on your PC?
