Hi. I hope someone can explain to me why I find a hidden User when I go to Change User Accounts in Windows XP Home. I find an account called ASP.net that lives in Windows\Microsoftnet\Framework\v1.1.4322, and appears to be a Microsoft program. I don't see it in Welcome, or on the start menu, or when I change users. It looks suspiciously like a hidden user account for Msoft to use. This is my first post on this site. Best wishes to all. Twill.

Hi Twill, I believe this is a part on MS's .NET Framework & you probably downloaded <NT framework as part of Win Update Reccomended files.
Anyway here is a link that may help: http://www.asp.net/Default.aspx?tabindex=0&tabid=1
If you have inadvertantly added .NET you may be able to uninstall it through Add/Remove - Windows components.
