id take those reviews with a pinch of salt. theyre just user complaints against the offers/emails sent by ashampoo.

id try the product myself before passing judgement.

The pricing model for Prevx1 is fairly unique and is as follows:

    Detection is free for life.
Cleanup is free until 32 days after your first infection.

After those 32 days you may (if you wish) continue to use Prevx1 for detection for free. If you get infected, you may clean it up yourself if you wish.

If you wish Prevx1 to cleanup such an infection you will need to purchase a cleanup license. You do not have to do this as soon as the inital 32 days expires. If you choose to buy clean up, you currently have two choices in that: 1 month or 1 year.

    It's entirely up to you.
