ARP: IP/MAC binding?

    On LAN: DHCP boot, then Gratuitous ARP to check for IP conflicts, then an ARP request to the gateway

    A node being DOS by ARP spoof (by such as Netcut) would still be DOS on a re-boot (unless the IP as changed)

    I understand one of the first sent packet will contain gateway address information, however I don't think this could be a safe solution, because it won't work if the user decide to quit/restart Look 'n' Stop, or decide to change the network interface in the options.

    Yea, that's true Fred.. Though I'm sure there's something you could think up to overcome the two conditions. :)
