    Hi all,
    2 questions:
1.) I use Comcast's cable internet service. It comes with a complimentary version of Mcaffee Security Suite. Am I as secure as if I had the paid version of Mcaffee?
2.) I haven't upgraded to Vista yet. But when I do, will their "new & improved" security be enough protection?
    Thanks, Alan

I use to have Comcast and used the free Mcafee but it slows your pc down alot. There are several good free anti viruses. Just google them. AVG,Avast and Antivir are all free ant viruses. There are also several free firewalls. Zone Alarm, Comodo and Online Armor. Take your pick but my last choice would be Mcafee.

1.) Yes, you will be as secure as having the paid version.
2.) You will still require a firewall and an antivirus.

Should be fine with a complementary version of McAfee, although I found the same as above, that it slowed my system down a good bit. This is older hardware though, so it may be fine on a newer PC.
