Are AVG and AntiVir now has fast updates?

    I am just wonderin for those using AVG or AntiVir free antivirus if they've already improved on the speed of their updating process on this program. Did they already improve.. now...and are fast like Avast Home? :rolleyes: o_O

    Coz I'm on dial-up...:D

    What I like on AVG and AntiVir was that they are light, or lighter than Avast..:cautious:

    I'm on dialup also.
    AntiVir free has improved the update process.The updates are smaller a lot of the time.

    I'm a dialup user also, AVG 7.5 Internet Security updates blazingly fast for me.

    AVG and AntiVir both have improved the update process. Both have incremental updates now, though you may occasionally have slow updates due to server load (for the free versions, AFAIK the paid versions have never had such problems).
