Today, when I updated SpywareBlaster -- I decided to take a look at some of the settings -- the following settings for Internet Explorer browser pagesmade me wonder if I should be deleting some of them -- I donot know enough about such things -- I would like to know if these "redir.dll" are something I should be concerned over?

Since I am not allowed to make attachments it becomes a bit difficult to show you what I mean -- but, this is the best I can do:

    Internet Explorer browser pages:
http://www.microsoft.com/lsapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&ar=iesearch [what is the lsapir thing?]
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BLANK.HTM
    http://www.microsoft.com/lsapi/redir.dll?prd={SUB_PRD}&clcid={SUB_CL...
    http://www.microsoft.com/lsapi/redir.dll?prd=prd=ie&ar=iesearch
    http://www.microsoft.com/lsapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&pver=6&ar=msnhome
    http://www.microsoft.com/lsapi/redir.dll?prd=prd=ie&ar=iesearch
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BLANK.HTM
    http://ie.search.msn.com/{SUB_RFC1766/srchasst/srchasst.htm
    http://ie.search.msn.com/{SUB_RFC1766/srchasst/srchasst.htm

under all of that -- are the words "Change" and "More info On Item"

I am confused about all of the 'repeated' phrases etc. -- what in the world does all of that mean?
If I am 'infected' with something -- neither my antivir, or any of my other protection devices are 'getting' it -- please let me know what this all means?

Those are the default IE settings for searches; they are OK.
If you highlight one and click more info on this item it tells you what they refer to.
