Too bad that it's never mentioned how many AV's could detect this. And 28.000 downloads is quite a lot, and this was only GDATA's telemetry, so many more people have likely downloaded this app. Makes you also wonder how many people are actually using adblockers. Chrome has a built-in adblocker, but obviously it doesn't block ads on Google Search.
