Applicattion Error TrueImage.exe ID 1004

    TureImage.exe causes an application error:

    Fehler in Warteschlange: Fehlgeschlagene Anwendung TrueImage.exe, Version 9.7.0.8206, fehlgeschlagenes Modul unknown, Version 0.0.0.0, Fehleradresse 0x0177969b.

    Product: Acronis True Image for SBS

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

    Can you please describe the issue in more details? In what exact moment the error message occurs? Have you installed any software recently?

    Please also provide us the following information:

    Start Dr. Watson on your computer: choose Run from Start menu, type "drwatson" in the dialog box and hit Enter. When application crashes, choose "Open" in the crash message box and choose "Save" from "File" menu. Pick up the saved file from \Windows\Drwatson directory and attach it to your next reply.

    I also have an application error in vista.

    Can you please attach the requested crash dump to your next reply? Also please describe the issue in few words, when you receive the crash, what operation do you perform?

    Hello, Acronis Support

    I've contact support center and now my problem is finally solved. :D :D :D :D :D

    The solution is

    1.remove all acronis true image.
    2.reboot.
    3.reinstall
    4.reboot, put the following into registry, before running TrueImage

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Settings]
    "OneClickBackupExecuted"=dword:00000001

    5.Done.

    This worked for me.
    Hope you won't mind I post the registry here.
    And would you please notify denkfj the solution?

    No this does not work.

    Still crash at the same program offset if you select tools-> one click protection

    or

    Choose to create a backup.
