    Hi All

I installed Betternet vpn which works quite effectively. Since it is a full system application and not an addon, when you click connect (to the vpn) on connection it opens the default browser. (I have Firefox default, Chrome & IE11) Then it opens a specific Betternet web page.

How do I stop this application opening the browser or even a webpage.

    Thanks

    Terry

This does not sound right to me. Is it a free VPN client?

I am not sure if it is this: https://www.betternet.co/
Sometimes even quality VPNs offer free trial periods or with limited usage. I see nothing on this page that there is a payed version. That really does not sound right. Maybe Hola version 2?

I could somehow, but not really, accept a free VPN version popping up an advertisement to upgrade in a browser. The company has to get payed for running their VPN servers.
I don't know any about this thing except my hunch that it is of no good, if it is from that page.
