Application check for updates

    I was looking at the Thunderbird 3 issue, and saw it was fixed in v4.2, but I had v4.0.

    I was a bit surprised to realise that Nod32's automatic updating doesn't include updating the application version itself, only signatures.

    There is also no manual "check for program updates".

    Apparently I have to go to the Eset website and manually download the latest application version to get it. That seems very clumsy in these times.

    Am I missing something? Is there a reason for this?
    My setup is set to "Always update program components"...

    Thanks. I am OK with them not automatically updating the app, but they should tell us about it automatically, and offer a way to download the update within the application.

    Nothing seems to have changed :rolleyes:
