Apple reportedly tests 3D printing to manufacture the new Apple Watch

Apple is reportedly testing using 3D printing technology to make the chassis in the upcoming Apple Watch Series 9.
Bloomberg reported that Apple will roll out the 3D printing for other products’ manufacturing if initial tests go well.
The company hasn’t yet been able to mass-produce 3D-printed aluminum enclosures used in Apple’s Mac and iPad lineup, per the report.
