    Good for Apple. Well done.
IMO location are the most dangerous of all the mobile API's.

Everyone should be onto the Android Devs for their new Wifi Access point triangulation API that can pinpoint user location within 2 mtrs.
They claim it is for the home and give very shakey examples of what it might be used for, like who is near a karaoke mic, but that is nonsense.
For one thing who is in range of 3 open access points that have a determined location of their own while they are at home anyway?
Secondly who carries their phone around on their person while at the house?
I don't know anyone that doesn't just dump the phone on the nearest table when they get home.

The real purpose is obviously to nail individual users in busy public locations where they do have their phone on their person and where there are lots of access points but so many people around, existing location cannot pinpoint who is who.
That needs to be stopped before it ever goes into production because people WILL be killed using that API to track them, stalk them and take them out. It is not a matter of maybe.
