    Yes, way too expensive. The Surface Studio looks nice, but when I look at the specs, I don't see anything what justifies the steep price. Same goes for Apple. I think if they and other PC makers lowered prices, they would sell a lot more.

    I don't care for the Surface Studio, but I really would like to have a Surface Book. I won't be buying anything Apple. I need a real computer. As everyone else has stated, prices are too high for any of these devices.

    Re: Microsoft's new Surface desktop: elitist snobbery. My guttersnipe i7 will go and sit in the corner, it is unworthy.

    Not liking the price tag for Apple's new MacBook Pro specifically--but I like what I see. Next time I'm in Manhattan, I'll look in the Apple store window at Grand Central. That's about all I can afford.

    Intriguing. The newest MacBook Pro weighs only 3 or 4 pounds. It seems very thin, though. One good drop or something, how about your expensive internal components?
