OK, so that's why M$ has probably launched its new desktop, to steal the shine from Apple. What do you guys think, is it worth it? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/devices/surface-studio
It was a live event, so there is a lot of info (click on continue in each update to get the details)... http://www.theverge.com/2016/10/27/13438932/apple-special-event-october-2016-macbook-pro Seems as though the fanboys were not disappointed.
Yes, way too expensive. The Surface Studio looks nice, but when I look at the specs, I don't see anything what justifies the steep price. Same goes for Apple. I think if they and other PC makers lowered prices, they would sell a lot more.
I don't care for the Surface Studio, but I really would like to have a Surface Book. I won't be buying anything Apple. I need a real computer. As everyone else has stated, prices are too high for any of these devices.
Re: Microsoft's new Surface desktop: elitist snobbery. My guttersnipe i7 will go and sit in the corner, it is unworthy. Not liking the price tag for Apple's new MacBook Pro specifically--but I like what I see. Next time I'm in Manhattan, I'll look in the Apple store window at Grand Central. That's about all I can afford. http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/careersandeducation/see-apples-new-macbook-pro-in-90/vi-AAju0Rf Intriguing. The newest MacBook Pro weighs only 3 or 4 pounds. It seems very thin, though. One good drop or something, how about your expensive internal components?
