Append image verify

When I create an append image and want to verify it does it matter what date of image I check? Do I select the first base image or the last incremental image? Do I need to check them all?

Thank you for using Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/).

If you select the first full (base) image then only this full image will be verified. If you select the last incremental image then all images will be verified (i.e. the full one and all the subsequent incrementals). Furthermore, you will be unable to verify the incremental image if you don't have all the previously created images in the same folder.
