I've noticed ever since I installed NOD32 v4, when I send a message to anybody it takes a few seconds for my messages to go through. When I disabled Real-Time File System Protection my messages were instant. I tried excluding the AIM folder and as well as AIM.exe and it still lags my messages. Is there a fix for this?

I'm not sure how AIM exactly works, but I assume it stores the conversation history in an xml / text file. If it's too large, it maye take some time for the scanner to go through it. Does configuring real-time protection to scan files with default extensions (ie. files potentially carrying malware) instead of all files (set by default) make a difference?
