Anywhere I Can Find a Detailed Tutorial on Avira Antivir Premium Settings?

if not, then what are your recommendations for update and scheduled scan settings, and for general advanced settings to have antivir's overall protection at maximum yet an effective and light on sys resources level?
p.s.: afaik, the updates, as default, set to take place once a day. is this the real interval that avira releases updates, or it must be set on an hourly-based schedule?
for the scheduled scan, is there an option to have a missed scheduled scan take place ASAP?

set it every 3 hours, the next version will auto check for updates every 2 hours on default

Maxing out the tweakage doesnt noticibaly slow me down in anyway.
