Anyother IRC client

    Hello folks,
    i started using mirc from yesterday and i am already liking it, i want to is their any other IRC chat clients out their and commercial or freeone.

    Eagerly awaiting a response.

    The last one I used was an extension for Firefox: ChatZilla

    But IRC is dead IMO.

    I think IRC cannot die, the social networking experience has a huge potential, but IRC experience is a lot different , a person is left to one's imagination when he starts chatting with another users, and its not bloated where bots do most of the work, like in Yahoo messenger, where its only, slam, bam, thank u mam, where pornography and webvideo selling is more profound/ i started using mirc, and i met quite a few interesting people, which speak's volume in terms of quality and funtionality in a users experience ( for me ). IRC is here to stay......

    Thank you , that was a liberating piece of information, just enough to know about the types of irc client out their.
    IRC is good.

    I used to use Polaris as my IRC client, it had alot of cool features, but it hasn't been developed for awhile now

    I use Monochrome. It's not been updated for a couple of years, but works a treat. From the same guy that develops foobar2000.
